REMOVAL OF "STUFF" IN ATTIC

 QUESTION FROM ROYAL OAK, MI:

Can the insulation be done without removing everything from my attic? How long does it take? Will you come out to give a quote?

ANSWER FROM THE INSULATION DOCTOR:

You do not have to take everything out of the attic, but it would be necessary to cover anything you have in the attic with plastic.
If you know the square footage of your attic, we could provide you with an estimate which would include a number of different options as to what r-value of insulation you might require.  It is helpful to know what year the house was built.  If you have this information, it would allow me to make a recommendation as to what you might need.  You can figure out the square footage of attic by measuring the length by the width of your attic.

With regard to your question about timing,  it will take less than one-half a day to do the work.
